coming back from Singapore ... or Going to Johor Bahru how to

hahahahahah i got a request .. actually i wanted to blog about this

but .. always forgot laa ...

ok the picture above ... after the Singapore Malaysia causeway bridge

by pass the old immegresion centre .... any lane .. no problem

it will end here ...  no more side parking to wait for your convoy

no stop here ok ...  (hard left uphill)

warm up you tyres @ CIQ hahahaha many corner and turns ..

exactly the same as JB to SG ... (hairpin right hill)

just get ready to turn ... (straigh to hard right down)

the wong ah fook police station on ur left ... (hill straight)

if ur a colim mcrae fan  like me ... i can do constand 60km/j

but kids .. please do not try these at home .. i'm we'll trained ...

i love CIQ .. thats the only legal corner that i can practice my skill

for FOC hahahahha ... read the warning above .... (hairpin left)

the next time ... i'll let u know how many G is each corner ...

not the G-String ok ...

coming to the Scenic Bridge ....

here is the extenstion that never took place ... the much talk about

scenic bridge .... very sayang ... 3 to 2 lane approching...

car keep left ... bus keep right... only single lane here .. but ..

if no bus ... u can use the bus lane ... duh ...

entering CIQ .. last right turn

2 lane to 3 lane above ...

do not drive at this lane now .. go back to ur car lane !

the bus lane is on ur rightest lane ...

entering the CIQ .. there are 4 lane .. 2 to your left and 2

to your right ... just follow these rules .. just don't drive to your

leftest lane and rightest lane .. keep to the centre left and right

you can clear the CIQ faster ... read below for my stupid mistake..

yes ... no more CASH payment .. die die must use Touch n GO

you can park ur car .. read the below instruction .. there is a

counter to buy those cards .....

there are many temporary car park to stop and to get your

immegresion white card ...or Touch and Go don't fret

 .. mai kan chong ...

the temporary car park is along the right side of the Terminal ..

long Q on the leftest lane .. please do not follow my route

it's a stupid mistaken .. look left ... bloody clear ... knn F%$&!

the red spacing is for you to temporary park you car ... on ur left..

in between the Pillar ...

exit immegresion checkpoint ...

CIQ exit ... 1 lane ... the other lane on ur left still CLOSE !

go straight ........

keep right here .... on ur left is to CIQ taxi stand ... or to

kim teng park

keep right to town, pelangi, senai keep left to stulang darat,

behind pelangi, permas jaya

update on CIQ, if ur confuse ... then ur normal !

that's why i blog alot about CIQ, not to condem it ok

don't get me wrong ... hahahahahah

there are only 2 way to get into Johor Bahru CIQ,

1. through Pelangi or through Town fly-over

2. through Stulang Laut

if u come from Stulang Darat then u need to turn left and

do U-Turn

Picture above is from Stulang Laut .. keep left

and yes there is a U-Turn to Permas Jaya - Stuland Darat

keep left to CIQ in front there is a matrixs of Traffic Light

drive slow because it's super confusing .. just keep left

notice that i do not post the picture here because i get

confuse and i had no time to take any pciture ...

cars and motorbikes coming in all direction ... F%$&!

anyway here's a trick to exit CIQ faster ... just keep to the left

but not the leftest left ... the leftest left has about 7 booth only

the left has about 14 booth and the booth starts here ...

u can clear within 10mins if ur car is at this location ...

if u accidentally and stupidly took the leftest left ..

then the Q would be more then 15mins

note that now there is no CASH pay, all using TOUCH and GO

u can buy Touch and Go at the counter ... above the picture

u can illegally park ur car and the counter is just beside the

touch n go banner ...

if ur a foreigner and u need to fill up the embakartion form

u too can park illegally in front and the office to take the

forms are on ur right counter ... just beside the touch and go

banner ...

if u follow my other CIQ blog .. here's the speed bump

that will F&^%$ED ur suspension ... maybe ur alignment too

and maybe ur balance of ur wheels too ...

there are 2 of these along the way .. so KEEP UR EYES ON

ROAD !!!

any saloon car will be F&^%ED ! don't worry ...

CIQ how to - from Pelangi

from Pelangi to Johor Bahru town ... keep left and turn left ...

there is only 1 lane in front ... the middle lane to Skudai/Senai

with traffic lighs and on ur right is a U-Turn to CitiPlaza/

Citibank/Pelangi/Kota Tinggi

2 arrow mean 2 narrow road to Woodland on ur left ... keep

left but not leftest left ... just left ... on ur right .. 2 huge lane to

Stulang Laut or The Zone (Duty Free Zone) to U-Turn, follow the

Woodland signboard but keep right on the traffic light

the bridge on ur right is to Stulang Laut/The Zone/Duty Free Zone

 u keep left to woodland .. leftest left is to Stulang Darat or to

Permas Jaya .. or to Pelangi also can ... actually to The Zone

also can...just to give u some idea lah ...

1 car lane ... 1 bus lane ... yes .. only 1 lane .... RTFM !

motorcycle has their own lane ...on the left ... car lane middle..

bus lane on the right...

 this is car lane ... notice the car in front .. on ur right is bus lane..

on ur left .. after the divider is the motocycle lane...

here .. u can do U-Turn back to JB Town/Skudai/Senai/

Pelangi ..but i have no idea how yet ... because notice a van from

ur leftest left that car is from Stulang Darat to JB town/Skudai/

Senai/Pelangi .. i think u can do a U-Turn provided there is no

BUS obstructing ...

 go straight when the traffic light hits green .. duh ...

notice on ur left .. that;s the motorcyle lane ... become narrower

now ..and on ur right, notice a car waiting at the traffic light ..

 that's the car from woodlands going to Permas/Stulang Darat 

direction ...

 at this point ... i think u still can do a U-Turn back to JB town/

Skudai/Senai/ Pelangi/Permas... if.. no bus from ur right is

obstructing ... i think let me try 10 more times .. then i'll

confirm again ...

 CIQ just in front ...

 going down to basement ... 3 ZONE ... i got no idea what is

ZONE stands for ... anyway ... take the middle one ...

(my personal tips)

watch out for speed BUMPS !!! it's about 3inch high and very

sharp and narrow ... it will snap ur absorber if ur driving a cheap

car no pun intended ... i think my dashboard just dropped a cm ...

i've stopped by and ask the officer here .. if i can take picture

of the lovely new CIQ .. he say yes i can ... so below picture are

with permission frm the officer above ....

anyway .. there is no signboard saying no PICTURE OR VIDEO

 here's the ZONE B look ... on ur left is ZONE C and right is

ZONE A ... anyway ... i heard there are about 30 booth here

so everything will be as smooth as silk ..

bear in mind .. malaysian passport holder ... u can no longer wave

your red color passport ... all tom dick and harry need to surrender

ur passport to be scanned .... so... expect ... JAMMM lah ..

 after clearing the CIQ ... get ready to pump some juice out of

your engine ...... brake check .. tyre check ...suspension check ...

we're going to mini sepang ...

 hairpin right ... yes you idiot .. HAIRPIN RIGHT !!!

 i told ya ....

need alot of juice because we're going uphill !

 HAIRPIN LEFT !!! brake brake .... we're going downhill

 steady steady .... HAIRPIN RIGHT !

 after the downhill hairpin right .. u'll be merged with BUSSES

watch out for BUSSES .... u don't dive in the corner with them...

the corner is as tight as a virgin .. no lube can get u out of the

corner with BUSSES .....u'll just get caugh and i'll see u at the

hospital and ur car will be totalled ....

 on ur left...Jalan Lumba Kuda ... if u read my blog below u'll know

this road name ... as usual .. RTFM!

that's the famous Old Cathay Laksa ... today Monday

they are OFF

 that's the scenic bridge ... how i wish the project to be continued ..

so that i do not need to practice WRC everytime to woodland ...

 i wonder the camera are for ? lookout for accident ?? i think so...

because on a very tight 2 lane ... if a car breaksdown ...

expect 3 hours of JAM i've been in that situation ... u better hope

and pray ur bladder is empty... bloody empty and ur bowel is

sooo fine  .....else ... u'll need to go figure ... real hard ....

unlike singapore CIQ.. there are 1 temporary toilets ...

@ woodlands right lane, in between lorry and car lane 

and tuas u have 2 temp toilets

.. yes ... i'm bloody observant ... i'm vigilant ... of cos i bohausiaw

downhill ... keep ur legs on the brake pedal ... tab a bit ... and

not to rest on it .... u'll smoke ur brake pad ...then u'll end up at

 the ...divider .. where else ...

the last HAIRPIN LEFT DOWNHILL !

 ... i wish ur tyres still have the rubba ....

after the long and twisted corner .. ur back to the old customs

check point ... hurray !!! the causeway bridge welcomes u back ...
