Bak Kut Teh Klang Teluk Pulai

 
was in KL last March ... the only place so far i always wanted to
go for breakfast was .... Klang Bak Kut Teh ...
so my wish was granted ... my gf's lil sis bring us there ...
i'm so anticipated we'll you can see the picture above
  
 finally ... 33 years of waiting ... i'm here ... Klang Teluk Pulai
the so call birth of Bak Kut Teh ... a chinese herbs cooked with
pork's ribs and intestine ...
  
 since i'm here ... i took all the angle of the shop hahahahahaha
t'was a long que there laaa ... so i go look here look there ...
  
 even the famous Hong Kong celebrity was here ... no doubt must 
be good ....
  
 portable boiling water ever-ready for self refilling
... aren't cooking above gas tank dangerous ???
  
 yah .. all self service ... i choose jasmine ...
  
 our entree ... 8/10
  
 these ... near tasteless ... 3/10
  
 much awaited Klang famous Bak Kut Teh ....
  
 9/10 ... maybe the herbs is too strong for me ...
or maybe last nite i drank too much hahahahahahah
but i love the meat because it's much tender .. just that the
herbs taste abit too thick ... the rest is OK ...
we'll ... different people has different taste bud ...
i still reckon the Bak Kut Teh @ Taman Molek best match
my taste bud ...

Bak Kut Teh - No. 10 Jln Molek 2/2, Tmn Molek






that's the boss and lady boss


our entree' ... just kidding ... these are the sliced cut red chili
and cili padi, the smaller ones .. in green ... u mixed it with
chopped garlic (not in picture) then add alot of thick black soy sauce
and some light soy sauce, you dip whatever u fished from
the soup on these sauce ...



Ewe Char Koay or yew char kueh [Chinese crullers] dip-it
with the bak kut teh soup ... siok !



kiam chai, preserved salted cabbage .. usually slow cooked with garlic ...



piping hot mate !!! it's still boiling ... the wonder of claypot



if you were to zoom in ... u have the Tau Kee (tofu skin),
pig's liver ..., bak kut ... shitake mushroom, button mushroom,
shan chan bak (tree layer of pork's fat with meat) and with the skin ...
and the secret ingredients of herbs...


shitake and button mushroom .. gives the soup it's flavor ..



here's the star of the soup... bak kut.... tender and succulent ...
yumm yumm

Bak Kut Teh .. in chinese, translate to pork's ribs bone, herbal soup,
or whatever you want it to be ... damn it just taste bloody good ..

i've been dining this place for about 10 years now, the operator
use to operate their business down in Century Garden, they bought
this 3 storey shop lot and moved to this location about 12 years now ..
so basically i'm not biased on food .. i give them 8/10
hahahaha you should get ur ass down there soon .... i believe !
